Meet the Acaboom Team: Linda Pugh
This month we meet Linda, master of projects and onboarding and an asset to the Acaboom team! You may have chatted with Linda as she reveals your shiny new Acaboom market appraisal toolkit and her service is second to none. We aren’t sure she actually sleeps…
We caught up with her to find out more about the lady behind the organisational wizardry and what her secrets are…
Job role – Head of Projects / Onboarding
Where are you based – Manchester
What you did before Acaboom – My career before Acaboom was in travel! I managed a team of travel agents specialising in long-haul luxury travel, mostly to Australia and New Zealand.
What is the best part of the job here? The Acaboom team 🙂 Although we all work remotely and I’m yet to meet any of my colleagues in real life (!), we have a great team. Its brilliant to be part of a growing business where everyone really believes in the product and the service we deliver. Getting to introduce that product to our clients and seeing how the presentations are designed around their brand is also great!
Tips of tricks for clients: We will design your toolkits to be completely bespoke to your brand, that means the more you can provide us with around your branding, the better! I think the best presentations are really personal to the agent, with images of your office, your team, even the office dog has made it into a few agent sales proposals!
What a typical work day looks like for you: I head up the onboarding team, so much of my day is spent meeting with clients who are partway through their onboarding project with Acaboom and progressing their template builds. I spend as much time as I can with my team too, helping them to progress their own projects with all our new clients, so everyone gets up and running with Acaboom with their brilliant digital toolkits as soon as possible! Although I work from home, I am never alone – I am always chatting with the team, clients, designers and copywriters, making sure everything is running smoothly. My dog is a great colleague in the office too (although he’s a little lazy and he NEVER makes the brews!)
What’s you desk snack of choice – Chocolate whenever necessary (often!)
Music to work to of choice – I like chilled out background music while I work normally, but if I’m busy and I need to get in the zone and get things done quickly, then its time to put on some house music!
And finally – how do you unwind? Wine!
