Personalised video messages can be added into your digital proposal in seconds with the Acaboom In Your Pocket app, allowing you to create a more engaging and personalised experience for your clients. By shooting a video from your smartphone or tablet and automatically sending it in your digital proposal, you can convey your message more expressively and authentically.
With personalised video messages, you can thank the client by name, reference any pets or children you may have met during the meeting, and deliver your valuation verbally. This feature is particularly powerful when only one decision-maker is present at the meeting or if a landlord can’t attend.

Personalised valuer videos using a desktop
To add a personalised valuer video into Acaboom, here are the steps:
- On the proposal screen you will see the video slide is hidden:
- Click on the grey eye to unhide the slide.
- Record your video on your device and host on a platform eg. YouTube, Vimeo.
- Obtain a shared link and enter in the URL box.
- Click ‘save’. The traffic light will turn to green and you can see your video has been added to your proposal.

To add a personalised valuer video into Acaboom, via the App, here are the steps:
From the property record click into ‘Actions’
The video item will have a green tick next to it on the left and on the right you will see that the slide is hidden with a grey eye symbol:
Click onto the arrow on the right hand side.
At the top of the screen you will see a button to ‘show slide’, click it:
You can now click the record button shown on the screen and record your video. A tip here is to turn your device to landscape.
Once done click the ‘save’ bar. Acaboom will now put your video in the relevant slide in your proposal.
